Stepping into 'High Society' with Grace Kelly | Hollywood Golden Age Fashion Creation #2

One of the most beautiful women of the Golden Age of Hollywood was Grace Kelly, and whilst the films that she was in weren't always my favourites, I can't deny that she always looked stunning and elegant in everything she did - especially as a crowned Princess of Monaco after her marriage to Prince Rainier III! I attempted to create a modern twist on one of my most favourite Grace Kelly costumes - her golden khaki dress from 'High Society'

I absolutely L.O.V.E. - love this dress - the colour of the dress brings out Grace Kelly's golden skin, something that I love, especially going into the Autumn and Winter months soon with green's and camel colours keeping your Summer tan alive. I really love the hints of gold, especially with Grace Kelly's golden hair. I especially love how this outfit and colour combinations are so relevant now, with many designers for Fall 2015 showcasing golds, like Bottega Veneta's shoe collection and the nude camel and green colours that can be seen like in one of my all time Fall 2015 coats from Marni and in the stunning Elie Saab dresses.
