Top 8 ASOS Colourful Plimsolls For Those End Of Summer Blues

On those lazy late summer days, the last thing I want to be doing while sitting in a beer garden or shopping with my friends is wearing heels, and when the weather turn on the chilly side at the end of August, what better way to bring some Summer fun back into your footwear than with some fabulous plimsolls. Whilst Toms will always be the leaders in such shoes in my opinion, there are so many other fantastic plimsolls out there to discover, and one shop that has it completely on point, in my opinion, is ASOS. 1. Dreamer Plimsolls in 'Pink Glitter' (£20) ; What more could you need from life than a pair of sparkly pink plimsolls? I love the sequins in a mix of shades of pink and the white accents on the sides of the foot. They look so comfortable, especially with the thicker sole and would be perfect for all ages and for a variety of outfits from every day to a going out look if you're looking for a flat shoe to wear.

2. Delaware Plimsolls in 'Pearl Sequin' (£25) ; Another sequin plimsoll that I'm loving at the moment is this shoe, which used a variety of pearl coloured sequins, shining pearlescent greens, pinks and yellows. These would be fantastic for a more subtle look for a night out, or perfect for a summery look in the day time - perfect for leggings, jeans or even a dress.

3. Walls Rocket Plimsolls (£25) ; Life is nothing without a little uniqueness - and whoever thought that ice cream and shoes would be a good combination is a genius! I love the uniqueness of these shoes, with the Walls logo and the rocket ice cream they make a really fun pair of shoes to break the summer blues as the rain sets in. I really like that both the shoes are different, with the logo on one and the ice cream on the other - it gives these plimsolls a extra something over the other pairs in the ASOS collection.

4. Delaware Plimsolls in 'Robot Face' (£25) ; These robot shoes are so adorable! I love that each shoe has half of the robot design, so with both on you can create one whole robot. They are something that could be for boys as well as girls - something you don't often find in shoes. They are a stunning non-photo blue colour and are a really interesting pair of shoes for all ages.

5. Dreamer Plimsolls in 'Floral' (£20 £10.50) ; These floral shoes are so pretty, with a variety of bright coloured flowers. I love that the design uses a large flower print as opposed to a small floral print like many other shoes. The white background on the shoes with the wide variety of colours makes it a shoe that's easy to wear with a large variety of colours - with a white dress for a pretty, summery girly look, with a colourful outfit for a gelled look, or with a black sleek outfit for a stand out shoe.

6. Demonstrate Flatform Plimsolls (£25 £17.50) ; These plimsolls go much more down the subtle route, by using one or two colours to create a seemingly simple pattern, yet still manage to give a fun, colourful feel to them. I love any kind of purple, and the tight checked purple, white and grey effect makes for a pair of plimsolls that are perfect for both the girly girl and the indie rocker inside of us all.

7. Dance With Me Pointed Plimsolls in 'Butterfly' (£25 £17.50) ; The butterfly pattern on these plimsolls is so adorable, especially with the blue on white creating a look of hand drawn butterflies. The hand drawn look to the patterning gives two dimensions to the plimsolls with a close up cute look and a far away modern, abstract look.

Dance With Me Pointed Plimsolls in 'Burger' (£25 £17.50) ; Bringing a somewhat classic 'unique' look to these plimsolls, using fast food as a patterning, these shoes still manage to have a interesting look to them.
